The boys tennis team finished regular season play yesterday with a win over Edenton 9-0. Their overall record was 11-1 and they will host their first round playoff match April 29. Go Pack!
Prom tickets are now on sale at the North Hall "W" during all four lunches. Starting this year, all tickets are $35.00 each for Juniors, Seniors who did not purchase a ticket as a junior, and all guests. If you are a Senior this year and you purchased a ticket last year, you will need to see Mrs. Paul to pick up your Senior Ticket. Prior to purchasing or picking up your ticket, please make sure that you have cleared up any and all outstanding indebtedness owed to WHS. Please see Mrs. Paul in North 112 if you have any questions or to get amounts owed to WHS.
Band Booster Meeting
The Band Booster meeting has been postponed to April 29th at 6pm. All Band parents are encouraged to attend.
Patrick Brian Olson Memorial Scholarship
Attention Seniors: The Patrick Brian Olson Memorial Scholarship is now available in Student Services. Completed applications are due to Jennifer Beach in Student Services by May 9th.
John Bragaw Stunt Night Scholarship
Attention Seniors: Applications for the 2014 John Bragaw Stunt Night Scholarship will be available for pick up in Mr. Gore's room beginning April 9. The deadline for returning the application is Tuesday, May 6. You must have been involved in Stunt Night for 4 years to be eligible.
It is time again for 2014 scholarships and the Optimist Club is looking for applicants. The website www.optimistclubwashington.org has the application for the 2014 scholarships. They will give four $1,500 awards. Eligibility is a 2.5 or higher GPA, played a sport in school or with the Optimist Club (cheerleading is included as a sport). The applications are due by April 21st.
Attention Seniors:Seniors who ordered graduation merchandise and have a zero balance should plan the time to stop by S112 ASAP to pickup your merchandise from Mrs. Howard. Those with a balance are encouraged to call (252) 355-1571 to make arrangements to pay.
